The roads are dangerous and snow packed all around our area. If you don’t have to be out, stay home. At 0600, highway 6 had 3-5” snow covering with drifting and blowing snow causing white out conditions. I80 and I680 were the same with very slow travel and multiple stranded vehicles.
If you can, park off-street so our city plow crews can more effectively clear the roads!
If you find yourself stranded, call *55 to notify Nebraska State Patrol so they can get help sent your way.
