Census Bureau: More women than men in Shelby in 2019

Of the 752 people living in Shelby in 2019, 52.9 percent (398) were women and 47.1 percent (354) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the EC Nebraska News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 228-to-191. In the 65 and over age range, there were 93 females and 52 males.
