As we head into a busy weekend full of 4-H shows and contests at the Nebraska State Fair, let’s not forget to practice good sportsmanship!
This is a skill we strive to instill in young people all year long, and it is especially important during fair time. We know, too, that young people learn how to deal with conflict, disappointment, and competition by observing the behavior of those around them. So, of course, we expect everyone involved in 4-H to demonstrate good sportsmanship, including parents, volunteers, and officials.
