As September comes to an end, we wanted to continue to raise awareness for Leukodystrophy.

As September comes to an end, we wanted to continue to raise awareness for Leukodystrophy.

Here are a few kind words about Sutton’s journey with HCMC.

Sutton Hake is 3 years old and a Tiny Tiger at the Palmer Preschool. On August 1st, Sutton was diagnosed with Leukodystrophy a genetic disease that causes harm to white brain matter and the nerves. It’s a progressive disease with no cure. Sutton has been a patient of the Howard County Medical Center Therapy Department since he was 5 months old. Sutton is a frequent flyer of HCMC and loves to ‘run’ through the facility to say his hellos to everyone! We are truly thankful for HCMC being our second home and all the wonderful people who care for and love our son!
