On Tuesday, April 8, former Humphrey Junior-Senior High School standout Jacob Sjuts’ current college team, the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Jackrabbits’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 3 p.m. at Erv Huether Field against Dakota Wesleyan Tigers.
