Rep. Don Bacon, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska's 2nd district, has been active on social media discussing various legislative and personal initiatives. Bacon, who replaced Brad Ashford in 2017, shared his involvement with significant legislative actions and community support through a series of tweets.

On December 12, 2024, Rep. Don Bacon expressed his honor in being a cosponsor of H.R.9625, known as the JUDGES Act of 2024. He stated that this bill is the companion to S.4199 and has successfully passed through the House. The legislation aims to authorize additional district judges for the district court system to address case overloads, including appointing one judge specifically for Nebraska. Later that day, Bacon highlighted his long-standing support for the Special Olympics during his tenure in the Air Force and now as a member of Congress. He emphasized his admiration for young adults participating in these competitions by stating: "I’ve enjoyed supporting the Special Olympics when I was in the Air Force for three decades..."

On December 13, 2024, Bacon congratulated fellow Congressman Doug Lamborn on his career achievements in the U.S. House of Representatives. He acknowledged Lamborn's strong advocacy for U.S.-Israel relations and commended him alongside members of the pro-Israel community: "I along with the pro-Israel community congratulated @RepDLamborn on a great career..."
