Don Bacon, who represents Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared several updates on social media regarding his stance on anti-Semitism, his engagement with local community members, and constituent services. Bacon has been serving in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Brad Ashford.
On February 6, 2025, Rep. Bacon addressed the issue of anti-Semitism via Twitter: "I will not be a bystander when it comes to anti-Semitism. It is an evil and it’s another vile form of racism."
Later that day, he expressed his appreciation for meeting representatives from Special Olympics Nebraska: "We had a great time meeting the fantastic reps from Special Olympics Nebraska, including Cindy Hemberger from Hastings! We're proud of local superstar Cindy, who has won 58 medals and over 70 ribbons!"
In another tweet posted on February 6, 2025, Rep. Bacon encouraged constituents to reach out for assistance with federal agencies: "Got a question or concern for the Congressman?
