In a tweet posted on February 13, Rep. Bacon announced his participation in the National Guard Association Conference, highlighting interactions with Nebraskans Joshua Stevenson and Blaise Lemke. He expressed appreciation for the service of National Guardsmen worldwide. "I joined the National Guard Association Conference this week. Great to see Nebraskans Joshua Stevenson and Blaise Lemke. I’ve served with National Guardsmen all over the world and I appreciate their service to our country."

Later that day, Rep. Bacon welcomed members of the Nebraska Civil Air Patrol (CAP), describing it as an excellent program for youth development.
