On Saturday, May 7th at 2:00 p.m., Bill Hayes gives us a living history presentation of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Bill presents the story of the expedition through the eyes of its youngest member, George Shannon. In full costume, he shares the experiences that he went through on the journey to the Pacific Ocean, and highlights some of the adventures (and misadventures) of the expedition party. At the end of the presentation, Bill steps out of character to give the audience “the rest of the story” about Shannon. This free program is sponsored by Humanities Nebraska.
