Rep. Don Bacon, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd district, shared his thoughts on recent geopolitical and local agricultural issues through a series of tweets on June 10, 2025.

In a tweet posted at 15:56 UTC, Rep. Bacon addressed the ongoing conflict involving Russia, questioning the justification for its actions. He stated, "So, this gives Russia the right to invade its neighbor, bomb it’s cities, murder POWs and kidnap thousands of children? No it doesn’t. We still have to stand up to a bully or the bully attacks again somewhere else."

Later that day at 18:58 UTC, Rep. Bacon highlighted his engagement with Nebraska delegates from the National Cattlemen's Beef Association's Young Cattlemen's Conference. He wrote about discussing future prospects for the cattle industry and their role in representing beef producers in Nebraska through @BeefUSA: "Last week I sat down with two Nebraska delegates who attended the National Cattlemen's Beef Association's Young Cattlemen's Conference to discuss the future of our cattle industry and their experience representing our state's beef producers through @BeefUSA."

A subsequent tweet was made by Rep. Bacon at 19:06 UTC; however, it only contained a link without any accompanying text or context: https://t.co/Qaj5Q1zcsF
