Police Club – June 8, 2022

Saunders County Youth Services sponsored a Police Club event at the Hackberry Park Shelter on Wednesday, June 8 in Wahoo.  Investigator Chilton Leedom began the “Police Club” where kids are oriented with police service techniques and law enforcement equipment.  The Wahoo Police Department and K-9 Remi, the Saunders County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol participated in this event.  Activities provided for the kids were viewing the Nebraska State Patrol helicopter, fingerprinting, 

K-9/Police Dog demonstrations and police cruiser tours.  Approximately 150 children attended.  Generous donors to this event were the Wahoo Kiwanis Club and First Bank of Nebraska.
