The City of Columbus is seeking proposals from an experienced mural artist or artist team for artwork to be installed on the band shelter back wall facing 27th Ave. (approximately 408.5 total square feet) located in Frankfort Square.
The artwork must be of a nature that can be displayed by a public entity for the enjoyment of a diverse, family-type audience.
The inclusion of artwork in public places establishes Columbus as a regional arts destination, increases quality of life and attracts tourism and visitors to the area. The primary goal of this project is to create an engaging experience for people coming to the downtown area by incorporating artwork in the downtown space.
