Rep. Don Bacon, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd district, shared a series of tweets on November 20, 2024, highlighting various topics ranging from volunteerism to military discussions and agricultural legislation.

On November 20, 2024, Rep. Bacon announced that "Nebraska tied as #3 in America for formal #Volunteering through an organization." He expressed gratitude towards Nebraskans who contribute to community strengthening efforts through service and volunteerism. "Thank you to all #Nebraskans who unite and strengthen our communities every day through #Service and #Volunteerism."

Later that day, he reported on a meeting with General Charles Q. Brown Jr., Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The discussion was part of a bipartisan veterans caucus round table focusing on military priorities and preparations for future conflicts with an emphasis on deterrence strategies. Rep. "We discussed his priorities and what the military is doing to prepare for future conflicts."

Additionally, Rep. Bacon highlighted legislative efforts related to agriculture by mentioning five bills included in the Farm Bill aimed at prioritizing producers over politics: "We have five bills in the Farm Bill that will put producers over politics."
