Rep. Don Bacon, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd District since 2017, shared a series of updates via social media. Born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently residing in Papillion, Bacon graduated from Northern Illinois University and later from the University of Phoenix.

On November 22, 2024, Rep. Bacon expressed appreciation for Nebraska with a brief message "NE Nice".

Later that day, he announced recognition from the Congressional Management Foundation for his workplace environment by stating "We are truly honored to be recognized by the Congressional Management Foundation for our workplace environment."

The following day, on November 23, 2024, Rep. Bacon discussed his meeting with Costa Rican Ambassador Catalina Crespo-Sancho regarding various topics such as immigration issues and technological advancements. He shared "I met with Costa Rican Ambassador Catalina Crespo-Sancho to discuss immigration issues, CHIPS Act funding to Costa Rica by the State Department, and Implementation of 5g networks in Costa Rica. Costa Rica has embraced cyber."
