On December 4, 2024, Rep. Bacon tweeted about welcoming Ms. Yulia Svyrydenko, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy of Ukraine. He expressed admiration for Ukraine’s resilience amidst ongoing challenges: "I’m amazed at Ukraine’s resilience despite Russia’s targeting of cities, power generation, and hospitals."
Later that day, Rep. Bacon announced having Silas Zhang from New Zealand interning in his office for the Fall semester of 2024.
