Rep. Don Bacon, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd district, shared his thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets in February 2025. These posts reflect his views on international affairs and domestic recognitions.

On February 20, Rep. Bacon commented on the human cost of conflict involving Russia, stating "And it cost 750,000 Russian casualties. Putin doesn’t care, but their moms do."

Later that day, he acknowledged local leadership by presenting an honor to Kenny McMorris. In his tweet, he said "Yesterday, I presented Kenny McMorriss with a copy of the Congressional Record honoring his achievements. McMorris, CEO of Charles Drew Health Center, is a true advocate for health equity and mentorship, embodying leadership for Black History Month."

On February 21, Rep. Bacon expressed his stance regarding Russia's participation in global forums: "Russia should not be invited back into the G7... It is a 'gas station with nukes.' Putin is a dictator who murdered his opponents. His barbaric invasion & war crimes in Ukraine make him unwelcome anywhere except China, North Korea and Iran."
