On March 5, 2025, Rep. Bacon tweeted about his meeting with Nebraskans following President Biden’s joint address to Congress. He stated: "After a late night listening to @POTUS’s joint address to Congress, I enjoyed meeting with Nebraskans at our weekly breakfast. We discussed the significance of Nebraska’s agriculture industry as the breadbasket of the world and the importance of maintaining our national security."

Later that day, he expressed appreciation for his meeting with the VFW Department of Nebraska. In his tweet from March 5, 2025, he mentioned: "I appreciated meeting with the VFW Department of Nebraska this week. Our discussions focused on our shared support for the PACT Act, NATO, and the Major Richard Star Act, as well as concerns regarding the recent termination of federal employees."

In another engagement on March 5, 2025, Rep. Bacon noted a productive conversation with AFLAC President Virgil Miller in Washington. He wrote: "It was great catching up with @aflac President Mr. Virgil Miller in Washington. AFLAC operates a customer service center in Omaha & has been an excellent partner for Nebraska. I’m grateful for their leadership in helping provide supplemental insurance to service members in need."
