He stated: "After a late night listening to @POTUS’s joint address to Congress, I enjoyed meeting with Nebraskans at our weekly breakfast. We discussed the significance of Nebraska’s agriculture industry as the breadbasket of the world and the importance of maintaining our national security."

Later that day, he expressed appreciation for his meeting with the VFW Department of Nebraska.
