Rep. Don Bacon, representing Nebraska's 2nd district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, has recently shared a series of tweets covering topics from art competitions to international politics. Born in Momence, Illinois, Bacon has a background in education from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.

On March 8, 2025, Rep. Bacon announced the commencement of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. He provided a link for more information regarding participation and guidelines.

Two days later, on March 10, 2025, he paid tribute to Brigadier General Robin Olds by acknowledging Mustache March, an event honoring the Air Force legend.

Later that day, Rep. Bacon commented on Russia's geopolitical status in a tweet posted on March 10, 2025. He stated that Russia’s economy is significantly smaller than that of the United States and criticized President Vladimir Putin for his actions in Ukraine. He argued against elevating Putin's status due to alleged war crimes and opposed granting him G7 membership.
