Rep. Don Bacon, representing Nebraska's 2nd congressional district, shared insights on his recent activities and perspectives through a series of tweets on March 11, 2025. The congressman discussed his voting record, historical context regarding NATO, and an upcoming vote in Congress.

In a tweet posted on March 11, 2025, at 15:53 UTC, Rep. Bacon highlighted his voting performance during the 118th Congress. He stated, "During the 118th Congress, I achieved a voting record of 97.3%. Although being away from Nebraska for much of the year can be challenging, I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent you in Nebraska’s 2nd congressional district."

Later that day at 19:09 UTC, Rep. Bacon addressed misconceptions about NATO's history and its support for the United States post-9/11. He remarked, "Some folks don’t know their history. NATO has only declared Article 5 one time and that was after 9/11 and in defense of the United States. NATO countries have fought in support of America in multiple conflicts. Isolationism is not conservatism."

At 21:38 UTC on the same day, Rep. Bacon announced his intention to vote affirmatively on a continuing resolution (CR) before heading to the floor for the vote. He tweeted succinctly about this decision: "I'm about to head to the floor to vote yes on the CR. Here’s why "
