Rep. Don Bacon, representing Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently shared a series of tweets addressing key issues and meetings relevant to his constituents and legislative agenda.

On March 13, 2025, Rep. Bacon expressed concerns about Medicare payment cuts affecting local doctors. He stated: "I’m hearing from many local doctors that the continued cuts in Medicare payments to doctors are unsustainable. Doctors are going out of business. We must fix this so that we can provide the quality of care to our seniors."

Later on the same day, Rep. Bacon discussed a meeting with LTG Maria Barrett, Commanding General of Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER). He noted: "This week, I met with LTG Maria Barrett, the Commanding General of Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER). As a cyber service component, ARCYBER trains and equips Army cyber forces for employment by USCYBERCOM to defend the nation and support the joint team."

Additionally, Rep. Bacon hosted a reception for his Chip IN for Veterans Act on March 13th. He conveyed gratitude towards attendees by saying: "I want to thank everyone who attended my Chip IN for Veterans Act reception. Together, we can work to make this legislation permanent, which benefits taxpayers, communities, and most importantly, our veterans nationwide."
