Rep. Don Bacon, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd District since 2017, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. Born in Momence, Illinois, Bacon graduated from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix and resides in Papillion.

On March 12, 2025, Rep. Don Bacon addressed the issue of anti-Semitism on college campuses. He stated that "Harassing Jewish-American students on college campuses because of anger towards Israel’s policies is anti-Semitism. It is racism. It is hate."

The following day, March 13, 2025, he expressed support for a peaceful resolution in Ukraine. He wrote: "We want a just peace for Ukraine. I also agree with my friend, @USRepMikeFlood, and his four priorities for a peaceful resolution."

Later on March 13, he commented on political activities in Nebraska's 2nd District involving liberal figures visiting the area. He questioned their military credentials by stating: "First NE Dems bring in the most liberal Senator to NE02. And now they’re bringing in the most liberal Governor in America. Maybe at the townhall he can clarify what Army rank he actually retired at & when was that 'combat' deployment he use to talk about."
