Rep. Don Bacon, a U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska's 2nd district since 2017, shared several statements on social media regarding international relations and trade. These posts reflect his views on alliances, national defense, and economic policies.

On March 13, 2025, Rep. Bacon expressed his support for Israel during a meeting with members of the Israeli Defense Forces visiting Washington D.C. He stated: "I had the pleasure of meeting with a group of IDF who were visiting DC to learn more about our political system. I will always support Israel's right to protect itself and counter those conducting terrorism against them. America will too."

Later that day, Rep. Bacon emphasized the importance of strong international alliances for maintaining global stability and security. He tweeted: "America is and should be the indispensable nation for defending freedom, free markets, and rule of law. But we cannot do it alone. We must have strong alliances that help deter Russia, China, and Iran."

In another post on the same day, he discussed trade policies highlighting consumer benefits from free trade while advocating for fair trade practices to ensure equitable conditions for American farmers and manufacturers: "Free trade is best for consumers because it provides more choices at the best prices. But, I also support fair trade. If one country puts up barriers to our exports we should reciprocate. Our farmers and manufacturers deserve a level playing field."
