Rep. Don Bacon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska's 2nd district since 2017, shared several updates on social media recently. His posts covered topics ranging from local sports achievements to legislative accomplishments and political disputes.

On March 21, 2025, Rep. Bacon congratulated the Omaha Mavericks for their successful season, highlighting their division win. He expressed pride in their achievement: "I congratulate the Omaha Mavs on a great season! The Mavs won their division and we are all proud."

In another post on the same day, Rep. Bacon reflected on his legislative success in Congress. He noted that during the 117th Congress, he ranked second among 435 Representatives for passing bills into law, and improved to first place in the 118th Congress. He attributed this success to his team's hard work: "In the 117th Congress we were #2 of 435 Representatives for getting our bills passed and signed into law. In the 118th Congress we were #1 of 435! We have a great team and we work hard to deliver results for #NE02 and America."

Later that day, Rep. Bacon commented on a political controversy involving billboards by Democratic opponents in Washington D.C., which he described as defamatory. According to him, these billboards were removed after being exposed as false: “Democrats' 'defamatory' billboards now taken down.” DC Dems got caught lying and had to remove billboards.
