Rep. Don Bacon, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd district, shared his thoughts through a series of tweets, addressing issues ranging from historical interpretations to public polling and the challenges facing law enforcement recruitment.

In a tweet posted on March 29, 2025, Bacon stated, "Reminder that some people get paid to lie. I said isolationism failed us in the 1930s and led to WW2. The Gateway Pundit then says I called them Nazis." Bacon emphasized the historical failures of isolationism leading up to World War II, while refuting claims made by The Gateway Pundit.

Further discussing international relations, Bacon noted on March 29, 2025, that a Gallup Poll: 69% of Americans want to sustain military aid to Ukraine at current or higher levels. This information points to a significant portion of the American public supporting continued or enhanced military assistance to Ukraine.

Addressing domestic concerns, Bacon highlighted recruitment challenges within law enforcement and county attorney offices in a March 29, 2025, post. In this message, he expressed, "Our law enforcement agencies & county attorney offices have had a difficult time recruiting new hires. This website is a vital tool to recruit the best of the best. Our officers & county attorney staff are vital to the safety & security of our communities." Bacon endorsed a website designed to aid in attracting qualified candidates to these critical roles.
