Rep. Don Bacon, who is currently serving in the United States Congress representing Nebraska's 2nd district, has shared several statements on his social media platform regarding recent events that have captured his attention. Bacon, who has been in Congress since 2017, often uses his platform to articulate his views on national and international matters.

On April 6, 2025, Bacon commented on what he perceives as a lack of constitutional understanding among certain individuals. He stated, "These vacuous 'social influencers' must have never read the Constitution."

On the following day, April 7, 2025, Bacon remarked on the military actions against the Houthis, expressing that the combat strikes were necessary despite earlier communication issues. He said, "Despite the Signal Chat SNAFU, the combat strikes against the Houthis were overdue and much needed. We cannot allow this rogue terrorist regime to shut down shipping coming out of the Suez Canal and Red Sea."

On April 8, 2025, Bacon notified his constituents about a change in the process for identity verification for Social Security services. He informed that "In-person identity proofing for people unable to use their personal my Social Security account for certain services will be effective April 14, 2025."
