Rep. Don Bacon, who currently represents Nebraska's 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared several insights and opinions through Twitter on April 10, 2025. Bacon, born in Momence, Illinois in 1963, and now residing in Papillion, has been serving in Congress since 2017, succeeding Brad Ashford.

On April 10, Bacon announced that "In-person identity proofing for people unable to use their personal my Social Security account for certain services will be effective April 14, 2025." This update aims to facilitate certain services for individuals who face difficulties in using their online Social Security accounts.

In another post, Bacon responded to a situation involving incorrect votes, stating that "She has the two wrong no votes. Not too bright." This comment seems to criticize an unidentified individual's voting decisions.

Additionally, Bacon addressed a broader public perception by stating, "Laura Loomer is a Whack-a-Doodle. Most of America knows it. I’ll call it out clearly." This remark highlights Bacon's view on Loomer's reputation.

Don Bacon, 59, graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1984 with a bachelor's degree and also attended the University of Phoenix. His ongoing roles have involved addressing numerous issues critical to his constituents and engaging actively with various matters in public discourse.
