Rep. Don Bacon, currently serving as a member of the U.S. Congress for Nebraska’s 2nd district, shared his views on international relations and religious celebrations via a series of social media posts on April 20, 2025. Representing his district since 2017, Bacon used the platform to voice his position on geopolitical conflicts and to extend holiday wishes.

In a tweet posted on April 20, 2025, Bacon commented on the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, asserting, "Russia is the invader. Ukraine is the victim. Ukrainians want to be aligned with the West, free markets, democracy and the rule of law. Putin hates all of this."

Later that day, Bacon extended Easter greetings to his followers, saying, "He is risen! Wishing everyone a Happy Easter. May this day bring renewal, hope, and joy to all who celebrate."

Shortly afterward, Bacon posted another message with a religious focus, stating, "Jesus has risen! God has power over death and we now have hope for eternal life in Him."

Don Bacon, who was born in Momence, Illinois, in 1963, currently resides in Papillion, Nebraska. He graduated with a BA from Northern Illinois University in 1984 and furthered his education at the University of Phoenix.
