Rep. Don Bacon, serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd district since 2017, recently shared his views on multiple subjects through his social media account. Born in Momence, Illinois in 1963, Bacon has been a notable political figure, residing in Papillion and having graduated from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.

In a tweet on April 22, 2025, Bacon expressed his agreement with an author he quoted, criticizing the United Nations. He wrote, "I agree with this author. The actions by the UN to erase the existence of Israel and the truth about the atrocities of the Holocaust are shameful. #FoxNews".

A day later, on April 23, 2025, Bacon highlighted the positive impact of federal investment in Omaha through successful advocacy efforts. He mentioned the local project, Davis Ridge, saying, "Davis Ridge is a great example of federal investment & local vision. Through our letters of support & advocacy, Omaha gained two Choice Neighborhood Implementation Grants, bringing $30M+ in federal funds. We're not just building buildings—we're creating a better future for Omaha.".

On the same day, Bacon also acknowledged Nebraska's contributions to American history in a post commemorating National Park Week. He said, "During National Park Week, we honor Nebraska's place in America's history from Homestead National Historical Park and Scotts Bluff National Monument. Our national parks preserve the natural beauty and pioneer spirit for all to explore."
