On May 8, 2025, Rep. Bacon participated in the House Armed Services Committee Cyber Subcommittee hearing with Department of Defense officials. Don Bacon was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BA and later attended the University of Phoenix.
