Rep. Don Bacon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska's 2nd district since 2017, shared his views on various topics through recent tweets. Born in Momence, Illinois in 1963, Bacon currently resides in Papillion and holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.

On June 1, 2025, Bacon expressed support for religious inclusivity in Ukraine by stating "Evangelicals and Catholics are all very welcome in Ukraine."

Later that day, he commended a high-ranking military official by tweeting "I know General Breedlove, one of the finest of all Generals."

In another tweet on the same date, Bacon discussed international security and domestic workforce needs. He highlighted his appearance on NewsNation to convey his stance that "the best way to prevent war between China & Taiwan is giving Taiwan the weapons it needs to deter conflict." Additionally, he emphasized America's need for more skilled trade workers across various fields like welding and electrical work.

Don Bacon continues to be an active voice in political discourse while representing Nebraska's interests in Congress.
