On June 1, 2025, Bacon extended his congratulations to the Jays with an expression of pride in Omaha's accomplishments. "Congrats to the Jays! Omaha proud!"
The following day, June 2, 2025, he expressed solidarity with the Jewish-American community by aligning himself with Mr. Greenblatt's stance against hate and violence. He emphasized that such actions are contrary to American values and called for accountability for those involved. "I agree with Mr Greenblatt, and I stand with our Jewish-American community. The hate is repugnant and the antithesis of American values. The violence is illegal and perpetrators need to be put behind bars and held accountable."
Later on June 2, Bacon acknowledged expressions of appreciation directed towards him. "I’m grateful for the compliments."
Don Bacon has been actively serving his constituency from Papillion since succeeding Brad Ashford in Congress in 2017.
