Rep. Don Bacon, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd district, shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets on June 3, 2025. His posts focused on accountability for universities and the issue of antisemitism.

In a tweet posted at 01:23:41 UTC, Bacon expressed that "The best way to hold Harvard accountable is for students and parents to vote with their feet." He advocated for sending children to universities that protect all students, including Jewish-American students.

Later that day, at 11:31:09 UTC, Bacon aligned himself with an opinion from The New York Times. He quoted the publication saying, “But attacks on Jews for the actions of an Israeli government a world away are collective punishment, and collective punishment is bigotry."

At 13:53:41 UTC, Bacon reiterated his stance against antisemitism during an appearance on KETV by stating, “Hating Jewish-Americans is an evil.”

Don Bacon has been serving in Congress since replacing Brad Ashford in 2017. Born in Momence, Illinois in 1963, he now resides in Papillion and holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
